Blackberry spam filters need help?
December 6th, 2006According to BlackberryCool, RIM’s spam filtering needs a little help.
I love hearing this, uh, the day after I get an 8700. Ugh. I will say, however, that I’ve already picked up roughly 100 emails with the little gadget, and so far no spam. Then again, it is email, so I doubt that will last regardless of the news.

I get maybe 1 or 2 a day to my blackberry mail account. This started happening about a week ago. I NEVER got a spam from the account ever before and I never use that account. So I’d like an option to just not accept mail there, but I don’t think that’s an option.

I don’t use the “Blackberry” account - in fact, I didn’t even set one up. I wonder if carriers run other filters on regular POP access accounts.
